Going to the Perth Court
Enter the Perth Children's Court through the main entrance doors. Tell the security people why you are at the court.
Then go through the security screening process.
If you have not already seen a lawyer, arrive early and ask at the front counter to see the duty lawyer.
If you have seen a lawyer, check in at the front counter and let them know you are here. They will direct you to the courtroom you are to be in.
Wait outside the courtroom. When your name is called enter the courtroom.
Someone will let you know where to stand, and your parents where to sit.
Food or drinks can be brough into the waiting area. No hot food or hard/glass drink containers are permitted.
A vending machine and water fountain is available in the court foyer.
